Police Pursuit Ends After Dodge Challenger Slams into Cars

* (Disclaimer: The content in this video is intended for educational and informational purposes only) Oklahoma City, Oklahoma — On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Oklahoma City Police initiated a traffic stop after observing a red Dodge Challenger performing burnout donuts near Southwest 31st Street and Miller Avenue. Officers attempted to pull the vehicle over, at which point it drove slowly onto Southwest 30th Street and came to a stop long enough for a female passenger to exit. The driver then accelerated away at speeds exceeding 60 mph, prompting a pursuit. The chase ended moments later at Southwest 30th Street and Agnew Avenue, where the driver failed to stop at two stop signs and collided with two other vehicles. The Challenger continued a short distance before rolling to a halt. Officers removed the driver, identified as 36-year-old Jaramy Yeats, from the wrecked car and took him into custody. Yeats was charged with eluding police officer, driving while license revoked, reckless driving, causing an accident resulting in injury, operating vehicle in accident without insurance, and failure to stop at stop sign.
